2002 HIPAA OUTREACH
What you need to know today

The Arkansas Division of Medical Services and EDS presented the 2002 HIPAA Outreach program from August 14 to September 20, 2002. There was no charge to attend. These half-day sessions were to help providers prepare for changes coming up due to the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The sessions introduced HIPAA policy and gave common-sense guidance for complying with HIPAA.
